Hey Soren, Bruce and everyone at haveahectic.com!! It's your favorite runaway JENNERS, dropping by to just say thanks to everyone who has reached out in this tough time.
Things at 99X were tough, our show never found the footing we hoped we would. When 99X was taken apar, great talents were lost like Leslie Fram (morning host and Program Director for 15 years), Steve Craig (mid-day personality and long-time music director) and myself (long-time putz and general goof-off). It has been a rough few days, things are pretty low in the Jenners house, but wanted to reach out to you guys to say thanks for all the supportive messages I've gotten.
As for me returning to Paul & Ron... not an option. Sadly, when I left, the door was closed very firmly behind me. Paul tried to do everything he could to convince me to stay (and in hindsight I should have) but the money and opportunity in Atlanta was too great to pass up, so I had to take a shot at it. I didn't want to live with a "what if" like that, so we tried it, and it didn't work out. My departure was not very well recieved by the show and station management, though, which is why I won't be returning. I remain friends with everyone on the show, as Toast and Branzig were two of my closest friends while in South Florida (Toast trained me), and I'm glad they are on the show and doing so well. Paul has done more than he has had to as I try to find a new job, so don't get on him too badly, he's reached out to help me when he really didn't have to I would never want to disrupt the excellent dyamic on Paul and Ron to make a return, it's just sad that I am no longer part of that dynamic and probably never will be again.
The curse of leaving the show strikes yet another! Please keep in touch, glad to hear from anyone, and I'm happy that a great show like Paul & Ron have such great fans like you guys.

I'm sure you'll bounce back, Jenners. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, right?
I really hope Paulie finds a new gig for you. Like he said himself he's like a father figure to you, so he will probably do anything in his power (shy of putting you back on his show though) to find something new for you.
Good luck, Jenners and remember to check back often. We love it when radio business insiders spill some beans once in a while :-D
