Congrats to Soren on the new main page design

I noticed that Soren shifted some things around on the main page and added a recent forum posts area and a haveahectic.com users list. And it looks like the format of the blog summaries is a little different, as well the sound clips side bar is a little different too. I think it looks great. The recent forum posts area is fantastic. It pretty much solves the problem of not being able to see the most recently posted to thread on the forum page. Big thumbs up!!

Yes, I'm glad you like it. I do too because to me it was also irritating that one could not easily see if new forum posts were made.
I have a lot of other ideas, and I will implement these when I get the time. Amongst my ideas are:
- A 'forgot your password'-feature
- More user info like a picture, myspace and facebook profiles, URL to own website, description of one self.
- Receive an email when: new blog posts are made, new forum postings are made or when a posting is made in a thread in which you also have a posting
- Banner that upsells the user sign up feature (in order to get more users in our community)
More ideas to make this site better? Let yourself be heard in this thread.

And not to mention the new page layout is more PDA friendly than the old one. Probably pure luck, but I still enjoy it, and it's more visually appealing, too.
