Well, it appears my answer from last week was correct.  Now I just need to be able to actually get through on the phone....

As for number 6, I'm going to have to think about that for a while.  I think the phone book might be the first place to start.

One thing to note is that they said Miami, not South Florida.

Buildings over 50 stories high?

Roads not currently under construction?

Former Dolphins hosting radio shows.

Current Dolphins that know how to tackle.  (I'm talking from both sides of the ball and the bench)

People that listen to Y-100 in the morning?

Oh, the list is endless.

Miami-Dade County or simply the City of Miami proper? Or Miami-area?

Could be just about anything.

I'll say bowling alleys, just for the hell of it.

That's not a bad guess.  However, if you are including the 36th st bridge just east of LeJune, it's not operable anymore from what I can tell.  It was at one time though - the bridge tenders tower is still there, but it has been unused for as long as I can remember.  Thank God, because traffic is bad enough there without an openeing bridge screwing things up further.

I guess you could say drawbridges though.

I'm going to offer police districts:

Allapatah

Coconut Grove

Coral Way

Downtown

Flagami

Little Haiti

Little Havana

Model City

Overtown

Upper East Side

Wynwood

My new guess, which I publicize because I doubt it's correct, but I'll say:

Original "Farm Store" Convience Stores still standing.

i found this:
http://www.miamirivercommission.org/PDF/24x18MRCmapInsideWeb.pdf
which proves my answer is correct, i just hope to get through soon.
if you look at the left side of the page, there is a list of the bridges, with an 'F ' for the fixed bridges, and a 'B' for the drawbridges(bascule).

I don't think this is right, since Paul and Ron said that we would "kill them when we found out what the answer is" but since I'm ineligible to win (I moved to NC recently) thought I would put my guess up for others.  My guess is courthouses...Here's the link that shows that there are 11 of them (though some are not technically in Miami, it is the greater Miami area)...Good luck all!

Just a thought...

How do we know they mean Miami FLORIDA?

I wouldn't put it past them to be talking about Miami Ohio....

yesterday paul repeated "you have to 'think outside the box' "

i  wonder if that phrase has something to do with the answer?
