You can't win--Led Zepplin?

You can't win--Led Zepplin?

Posted by Pete on Oct 01 2007 3:46 PM

I noticed on the You Can't Win page on the website there is a Led Zepplin background. Perhaps this could be the hinted hint?

Could Lucas, CK and Sandy all be roadies for Led Zepplin? Or something similar along those lines?

It sure beats "Dolphins at the Miami Seaquarium", "Fashion designers", or "Characters on ______" which we've heard ad nauseum to this point.

Sorry Pete, keep looking. The You Can't Win page you were looking at is the official rules which is hosted on big1059.com. The Led Zeppelin background you are talking about became the new background of all the pages hosted on www.big1059.com about two or three weeks ago.

I've looked through the entire paul and ron webpage and have found absolutely NOTHING. But I'm pretty damn sure that the answer to #5 is Characters in the TV show Flipper. I just think Paul is waiting for the fifth time hearing it to award the winner. Just a thought...

Was the picture of Albert Einstein always on the site?

That was put up last week when they put the man laws on the webpage. Keep looking. Lemme know if you catch it. I'm stymied.

at around 8:30 this morning, Steve said the hint was "3 things that are similar" on the website.

maybe Soren can post the clip.

If you look at the pages for Paul, Ron and Branzig you see the phrase "every since his childhood dog died from crucifixion".  The word "every" is used improperly 3 times, as if the whole phrase was cut and pasted, instead of being typed. (you could mis-type it once, but 3 times?)

Could Lucas, CK and Sandy be their childhood dogs?

Along those lines I also see that Branzig has 3 pets...

YCW always seems to include a question with a link to the cast, perhaps this is the question for this season.

Holy crap Robert, I think you might be onto something. Good call.

I might just have to call in tommorow.

Yes, that must be it. Steve also hinted at the fact that he had left hints on more than one page, so I'd say the hint is definitely this line:

every since his childhood dog died from crucifixion

That's gotta be the answer. The names of Paul, Ron and Branzig's childhood dogs.

I'd call but I can't. I won with Big 105 recently. Stupid 30 day rule...

Not me. I would have said it was Paul, Ron and Steve's childhood dogs, since the hint was on all three of their pages.

I did call though, but got only busy signal.

I knew the "flying coconut" answer to the first question the first day they asked it. I remember a few years back when the big story was shark attacks in the ocean, and I heard on the news that you were more likely to be killed by a flying coconut than by a shark attack.
