No more live video

It seems now that SDJ is gone so is the live feed.  Or is just me?  I haven't been able to view it  on Justin TV or Avarena.  What is up with that?  :(

As of 4pm Friday, the live AVarena feed is up and working fine.

While we wait for a permanent replacement for SDJ, I will assist as best I can.

Clear Channel staff got me in to the studio to check on the feed, so now we are back in business.

Live feed is available via AvaView client (download from www.avarena.org).

Or the embedded IE plugin version is available at www.2curious.tv in addition to the links located at http://pnyr.big1059.com/main.html.

The chat on the 2curious.tv does not require registration, simply pick a name and rock on.

If anyone needs assistance or is having any trouble with the feed, there is a link to email me at the bottom of the www.2curious.tv page.

We will try to get the daily VOD recordings going again and uploaded, for those of you who miss part of the previous days show.

It was the secondary feed they had in the studio, I use mac and avarena does not work with mac, so they usually had both justin.tv and avarena simoltaneously.  http://www.justin.tv/paulandyoungron

If u hav any questions Im sure John would be willing to give u any information needed.  I, and the other frequent Justin Tv viewers/listeners would greatly appreciate it.  Hope to hear u on the air!

Sorry for any confusion.  But, I don't work for Clear Channel, or have anthing to do with the PNYR show.  I am simply a geek consultant, who helps support AVarena when needed.  I will see what I can do to get the Justin.tv feed up, to accomodate the Mac users who can't use Avarena right now.  But, since I don't work for Clear Channel, I don't have much influence.

I do know some Mac users had success with the activeX plugin using a virtual machine product.  I am unsure which one, but my guess is that it was CrossOver 7.  It is much cheaper than other vitural machine products as it doesn't use windows and no windows licence is required, unlike Parallels and Fusion.

Someone else tried a freeware product called VirtualBox, but I don't know if it ever worked, as it isn't as robust.

Again, I will help any way I can, and apologize that AVarena isn't more ahead of the game to support Mac yet.
