I just checked in to see IF PnYR were coming back from vacation. I don't know why anyone would continue to support a show that treats its listeners like this. Are they afraid that the supporting cast would do a better job than them? In Paul's case, I believe that's true. Why not take seperate vacations like other shows do? or better yet, bring back Jenners to guest host. The show hasn't been the same since he left any way!

Although I personally (as a devoted PR 1+++) agree with you about the best ofs, I have to say there are alot of casual fans who enjoy them because they can only listen to the show for an hour a day and when the best ofs come on they get to hear stuff they've never heard before. Because they were either sleeping or at work when it was originally aired. But they will be back live Monday and I dont think they take anymore time off untill September. Usually its only a couple of days in September.

No actually I have to disagree there. The bills get paid according to arbitron ratings. Those ratings come from people who fill out the surverys or answer them via (telemarketer type) telephone calls. The vast majority of people that listen are causualy. Paul and Ron dont expect THE MAJORITY of their listeners to listen to all 5 hours every day. Thats why you hear them say we will replay this for 7oclockers or 10 oclockers. As a result, there are fewer FULL TIME PR 1's to answer arbitron surveys, compared to the large amount of casual listeners.
