paul mentions haveahectic dot com, but..........

he also mentioned that there are imitators out there. we already know that paulandyoungron dot com has created a chatroom and a forum (very tacky layout FWIW ) to compete with this fine site, but now it appears that someone has set up YouCantWin.net, complete with forum and chat.
he also mentioned a FaceBook page for paul and young ron fans:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2225811417
for some strange reason, i have a feeling the FaceBook is an undercover operation by big P himself.
i just saw where Soren posted in the facebook back in nov.2007, so i guess im just slow. oh well.
often imitated, never duplicated.
on to YouCantWin, paul gave a bit of a hint today by saying "Not 'The Breakers' Hotel"
hmmm.
its beer-thirty where im at, so see yall tomorrow.

First, thank you "blautens" for posting all of my personal information on here. A little before 5 my phone started to ring with people calling me to send accusations, threats, and insults to me because of my site. Shall I expect people at my door, too?
At least the people who have been sending me nasty emails all day were respectful enough not to call me but now that has changed. Yesm, I've received dozens of emails today not one of which giving me any kind of positive feedback for having my site mentioned on the radio, instead I get sent:
Accusations of cybersquatting (I advise them to look up the definition of "cybersquatter") Accusations of hacking (I also advise them to look up the definition of "hacking") Accusations of copy right infringement and copying this site which is amazing since I didn't know about this site when I put my site up a while ago.
From what it seems, this site is a fan site for the show itself, my site is about the game,it's obvious many members of this site can't tell the difference. I follow the game show every day (when I can, and missed days are stated on the site) while this site seems to "chat" about them when it is convenient for other people.
To the people who emailed or called me today (many of which referenced this site):
All emails containing threats or accusations were forwarded to my attorney along with the phone numbers of each person who called me with threats or accusations and all the relevant voice mails will be recorded by him tomorrow. I've also taken a screenshot of this thread showing that this information was posted here (in conjunction with the time stamp on the post and when I started to receive the calls).
If things get escalated the hosting company (danhost.dk / "Forside") shall expect a
subpoena from my attorney (this site does fall under US jurisdiction since it is a .com and the registry is Verisign based out of Mountain View, CA).

I do not condone in any way the actions of other people who have read this site and have chosen to harass you. However, your address and phone number are public records that are apparently connected to your website. As for your subpoena threat, you need to have a lawsuit first. You have no merit in a lawsuit, unless you sue people that have been harassing you. FYI- Young Ron's personal info. is also on this site, so you should feel special. Welcome to the site by the way, I hope you enjoy it! Have a Hectic Day!

There was a significant increase of activity after my information was posted here shows that a lot of people are getting the information here. You do not condone their actions but are allowing it to continue since they can easily get the information here? (By the way - even though that information is linked to my domain it is listed in the WhoISdatabase as a contact for professional reasons, not to be abused for personal attacks and threats).
"Welcome to the site by the way, I hope you enjoy it!"
Considering the reception I've gotten I highly doubt it nor do I think your community would allow it. I only registered to defend myself from the attacks.

"....but you are allowing it to continue..." I have no way of stopping it. As for the personal attacks, I know for sure that was not the intention of blautens. As for your reception, I can not speak for the people who view this site and what they do after they leave it, however no one on this site has attacked you. I was not being sarcastic when I welcomed you to the site, you are obviously a Paul and Young Ron fan, and this is the unofficial Paul and Young Ron Tribute Site. As a fan, I do think you will enjoy it.

C'mon, Draggar... the logs show that after blautens posted your personal information at 4:26 PM only three pageviews were made to that thread in the forum before you made your contribution at 6:57 PM, so you expect us to believe that "people" ie at least two of the three users who visited the thread, called you up??
That's simply ridiculous...
As for the email you sent me (getting my email address through my hosting company), I'll gladly remove your personal information from blauten's post. However, you should also make sure that your information is removed from this page http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?domain=youcantwin.net&prog_id=godaddy also ;-)
Welcome to the site and have a hectic!!

Draggar -
Welcome to the Interwebs. As a prominent politician described it - it's a series of tubes that...well, nevermind.
Godaddy makes it VERY easy to change all 4 contacts at once with just the simple tick of an extra checkbox. I register plenty of domains. They either go back to the businesses I register them for (as appropriate) or to a PO box, or to 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue. Phone numbers? Well, they're numbers...just maybe not phone numbers. Email addresses? Back to the domain or to a tossable address. Spam, junk mail, telemarketing phone calls and the like is all that comes from that very public information.
Along with the statistics related to page views that Soren just pointed out, I'd also like to discuss this statement you made:
I didn't know about this site when I put my site up a while ago.
Really? Soren works pretty hard at making sure search engines rank sites higher. This one, too. In fact, when I Google "Paul and Young Ron you can't win" we're the first hit. Granted - that's today, but I'm proud to say this fine site is hard to miss if you Google almost any key phrase concerning Paul and Ron, and has been for quite some time. That's how a lot of people found this site.
I feel somewhat responsible, Draggar. I used to blog the YCW answers every day. But the readers of this fine site found it harder to search through multiple blogs, and they took on the task of updating forum threads dedicated to each season, making it easy to follow. I don't check it much, perhaps they've not updated it daily. Shame on me for letting that lapse.
It's all about strength in numbers. It's numbers that get us mentioned on P&YR, it's numbers that got Soren invited into the P&YR studios, it's numbers that keeps P&YR staff visiting this site. A fractured web audience isn't nearly as important, nearly as active, or nearly as fun as one site that gets more traffic about the subject we're dedicated to - all things Paul and Ron.
I certainly wouldn't want anyone to "threaten" anyone - I've enjoyed meeting the people associated with this site (both electronically and physically), and find it hard to believe one of our members would threaten you based on my posting above, but if I'm responsible for that, I apologize. Even if I'm not, and you think I am, I still apologize.
I want you here, Draggar. That's my point. Be a part of the longest running P&YR fan site - make us better with what you can bring to the table.

wow. i definitely didnt expect all this!
it makes me sad and happy at the same time that haveahectic.com has so much power that simply mentioning someones website starts a campaign of harassment. i have a feeling that one of draggar's friends called him and told him about blautens post. i cant think of anyone on here that would even bother with something like that. and it wasnt my intention that this would happen. i welcome any and all to visit here, and post up any ideas they want to.
again. Draggar, welcome to haveahectic, take a look around, check out the soundbytes (im kinda partial to doug vs. paul :-) ), read some of the old blogs and have a hectic day!

WTF! THAT IT?!?
if you go read the post he made on his site, he makes it sound like he threatened legal action and crap.
i posted on his site that there was never any ill intentions by anyone here, and he replied in a calm way that he would not be coming back here for a long time.
i aint worried about any other websites. im here every day.
FWIW, i signed on to justinTV/paulandyoungron this morning, and there was NO ONE in the chatroom over there. at least m eand CaribbeanPrincess were in the haveahectic chatroom this morning.
everyone needs to stop by every morning. and at least keep me company for a while.
see ya!!

I tried to watch them on Justin TV this morning in the 6 oclock hour, but it was not broadcasting. SDJ didnt come in studio until after he picked up OMG. He should show Toast or Branzig how to set up the web cam so that if he is out, the web cam will still work.
