just a helpful hint to everyone. do NOT put "paul castronovo" "winston churchill" into google. it brings up only 6 or 7 sites. the first 4 i went into attacked my computer with spyware crap. once you get hit, the only way out is to shut down your browser with the task manager.

GOOD LUCK !!!!

So the answer has two parts...How is this going to work? I think when u get to Q4 u can answer twice and they'll give a yes/no for each (obviously if you get your 1st guess wrong "you can't win").  For example:  Paul: asks Q4, you: Both are/were fat bastards of their respective day, Paul: That’s right! (so then we have at least half of the question) you: wrong guess for #2 - game over but we know at least 1, and if your second guess is right but 1st guess wrong we still know half of the answer. To find the answer(s) I suggest going to Winston Churchill’s wikipedia page and finding items they may have in common; birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

I came up with two things...first Winston was an amateur painter (maybe Paul does that when he's not fishing?)  second...Winston had his appendix removed (could Paul be appendix-less?)

Could it be as simple as they are both white and both male?

Also, is there anyone else named either Paul Castronovo or Winston Churchill?  Remember previous you can't win contests when they asked about Michael Jackson and it ended up being about a sports player and not the singer as everyone thought?

Sorry Ben but if you answer "both were/are fat bastards of their respective day" Paul wouldn't answer "That's right!" but probably with a hearty "Good day sir!!"

Though i still believe that is half the answer.

I think I've got the answer. Every answer so far has to do with Palm Beach County.

I believe they both stayed at the Breakers Hotel. Paul worked there one summer.

Not sure if this will help, but I found this website about Winston Churchill.
http://www.quazen.com/Reference/Biography/Ten-Lesser-Known-Facts-About-Winston-Churchill
Also, while on tour in the US, he was hit by a car in NY and nearly killed.  Did that happen to Paul?  I know it happened to his wife.  There was also an American author named Winston Churchill.

Does Paul have a middle name?

Where was Paul born?

I am inclined to think that they may be going with the american author Winston Churchill, just because of what they did with the Michael Jackson question last time

Yeah, it was me.   Sorry didn’t get to give a haveahectic.com plug, I will for sure next time (I’ve managed to get through twice this season.)  Even though the answer(s) were wrong I’m glad Paul was embarrassed about his inability to catch a swordfish.  Ill take my prize too (better then the crappy Michael Clayton DVD I got the first time - still haven’t finished it...), good way to spend a weekend with the wife and kid.  Though I much would have rather had the Springsteen or Clapton tickets.

I did a little research and found the following:

Regarding the slightly more famous Winston Churchill, some interesting facts that I thought could be used to be compared to Pauly:

1) Born premature

2) Overcame a speech impetiment

3) Painter

4) Hit by a car as a youth

5) History is his best subject

6) Almost drowned in a lake

7) Played Polo

8) 10 years older than his wife

9) Collected stamps

10) Bought a farm in Canada

11) Collects Hats

12) Recuperated in Florida in 1942 under a fake name (Mr. Lobb)

13) Lost his father's pocket watch in a lake

14) Freemason

15) Family Motto: "Fiel Pero Desdichado" - "Faithful but unfortunate"

Less is known about the other Winston Churchill:

1) Born in St. Louis on 10 November 1871.

2) Served in the Navy after attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis

3) Wrote many books - great historian.

That's all I could find... happy cross-referencing!

I wish I knew where he stayed when he was in FL. I can't find it anywhere. I think that's one of the answers.

I'm thinking these are my top choices (In Order):

8) 10 years older than his wife

9) Collected stamps

1) Born premature

2) Overcame a speech impetiment

3) Painter

Ok, sno now my gripe is that people are only giving one answer to question #4 . The question asks for two things, not one. Idiots...

Oh and it has nothing to do with their weight. Paul just said so.

I still think that's one answer though...

Thanks to Eliza, we know that there is a second Winston Churchill.

Did anyone know that there is another Paul Castronovo? He is a lawyer in NJ. Could this be one answer: They both have someone who shares the same name?

Winston S. Churchill - Winston Churchill (Novelist)

Paul T. Castronovo - Paul Castronovo (lawyer)

Here is the website to the lawyer Paul Castronovo's website: http://www.castronovo-law.com/

Maybe the similarity is between the lawyer Paul Castronovo and the American Winston Churchill.

Boy this question feels like there are too many combinations.

For some reason I think "American" isn't going to be the answer. But a Churchill and a Castronovo that are both attorneys sounds like it could be it. Something else about them has to be similar as well. Tom, can you put up the links for their sites? (too lazy for Google.)

You're right. On today's show Paul referred to himself, and Sir Winston Churchill. So, the American lawyer angle is out. I think we are back to the premature birth, speech impediment when young, and/or The Breakers/Florida connection.

What they should do is make it a condition of winning the consulation prize: that you know the answers to the ones that have already been answered on-air! I know Paul had to have been pissed giving away the Universal tickets to him, but he said that he was giving it away before the break so it was too late to take it back.

It is frustrating as hell to call in AND be the right caller!!! :-(  Will they take callers on the "hot-line"???  I have that number from a couple of years ago when I had to call in to them the day after my youngest son got pulled up on stage with U2

I have been close: 12 and 13 a couple of times, but no luck EVEN THOUGH I have the right answer for Question 4 part 2 since May 20.....I have done more on-line searching and found numerous sites that confirm SWC stayed at The Surf Club on Miami Beach.

Forget all of Paul's who said Florida comment of last week......count on it being florida related and SOUTH florida at that, just like all of the other questions' answers have been.....PNYR just want this game to drag out for the 150-180 show days like the last few rounds have gone
