just wanted to say thanx for starting this forum.
i've been checking out this site for about a month (since i found it while searching for "Lucas,CK,and Sandy) :lol:
i have a question for the rest of you.
how many of you call the show and go on the air with them?
i have been on numerous times. the last time was when i called to tell Paul to check out the "eighth wonder" poll on sunsentinel.com. i had spent the day before voting over and over til i had them in the lead. i think i voted over 500 times in 1 day. i got a pauly's picks to North One10 restaurant, which i havent used yet.
i am a forum junkie, so i'll be posting more.

I've never called the show but since I'm a dane residing in Denmark, I think the reason why is self-explanatory. I remember your call though and I hope the do become the eight wonder of Florida. I just went in there to vote and it looks good right now:

I'm with Doug J., thanks Soren for starting the forum. I was a regular chatter on Paltalk and was missing a place to talk about the show, seeing as none of my friends are listeners (sure doesn't help that I live in SC now.)
Doug, how did you vote so many times for the 8th wonder thing? I tried doing what I did when we cheated on American idiots (that's right. Paul if you ever read this a group of us made Dave win, cause he deserved it!) which was deleting the cookies after i voted every time. For some reason i couldn't get it working for this poll. But wtg on getting them that high!
I've only listened to P&YR for about 2 years but I've called at least a dozen times. I've called Paul's Canadian accent sounding like a "retarded irishman," I called during the pet parcel service gag and told em i ordered an armadillo and had them believing it, I've not won You Can't Win (though I got some sweet Steely Dan tix,) and many others. They're so much fun to call and surprisingly easy to get through to. I enjoy a show with as much audience participation as they have. Makes the show seem more personal.
Anwyay, everyone enjoy the show and see you all here on this wonderful new forum.

i deleted the cookies and the temp files after each vote. i'm sure they will win again(i say again, cuz they actually won the "Seven Wonders Poll" but the SunSentinel didn't have the balls to put them in) and i keep track in case they fall behind again, but we'll see what the paper has to say when the voting is over.
